Usage Guidelines:

Attach the Zoo Med ReptiTherm Under Tank Heater to one side (left or right) of the terrarium to establish a thermal gradient. It should span approximately half of the terrarium’s floor and be spacious enough for your reptile to rest fully on it.

This heat mat performs optimally with a thin substrate layer (less than 2"). For enclosures with deeper substrate, consider an overhead heating option like a halogen basking bulb or a ceramic heat emitter based on your setup needs.
