The most important feature of a fluorescent lamp is the ability to emit sufficient UVB light, a component of sunlight. The Exo Terra Reptile Glo 8.0 provides high levels of UVA (33%) which stimulates appetite, activity and reproductive behavior. The ultra high UVB (8%) output is effective up to 50 cm (20"), and promotes Vitamin D3 synthesis for optimal calcium metabolism. The T8 (25 mm/ 1" diameter) fluorescent bulb is suitable for animals from desert environments that are used to direct sunlight, low humidity and little shade. Available in 7 sizes;
